How It All Started
The foundation of our mission began with a single, powerful belief: that the smallest act of kindness could set in motion a profound wave of positive change. Inspired by the need to confront global challenges with active service, a dedicated group of founders created an organization committed to action over apathy. From that initial vision, we began connecting families, leaders, and communities to serve side-by-side, cultivating a lifetime of purposeful action and partnership.
Our Vision
We envision a world where kindness is multiplied and communities thrive together. By uniting people through generosity, compassion, and action, we create ripples of hope that build stronger, brighter futures for generations to come.

Empowering Change Together:
The Ripple Effect of Hope Team
Our dedicated team at The Ripple Effect of Hope Foundation is united by the belief that meaningful change begins with connection and a commitment to working hand-in-hand with communities.

Janet Pawul
Earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Mitchell College in1977. Following graduation, she built a successful early career in the finance industry before shifting her focus in 1982 to her most meaningful role—raising a family. As a devoted mother of three and grandmother of eight, Janet discovered that being a full-time parent was both her greatest challenge and her deepest joy. Her passion for nurturing others expanded beyond her family when her youngest child faced health challenges. Frustrated by limited answers within the traditional medical system, Janet began exploring natural approaches to wellness, including chiropractic care, herbal remedies, and homeopathy.
Witnessing her child’s remarkable transformation inspired a lifelong commitment to holistic healing and service to others. For more than 17 years, Janet dedicated herself as a reflexologist and energy practitioner, helping individuals find balance, healing, and hope. Her work focused on education, empowerment, and guiding others along their own paths to well-being. In the years leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic, Janet and her family sponsored a young man from South Africa, Hope-Joy Kamuntu, to pursue his college education in the United States. Watching him thrive—earning his degree and becoming part of their family—deeply reaffirmed Janet’s belief in the power of compassion and opportunity. This transformative experience sparked a renewed calling to help others create lasting change in their lives, ultimately inspiring the founding of The Ripple Effect of Hope Foundation.
